The EPSO tests, one by one
Each page covers one test: its verified official parameters, what it measures, worked sample questions and how to prepare for it.
Seven tests. Each one works a different muscle.
Every test is calibrated to the official EPSO test specifications and scored against the official pass scores.

What the tests have in common
Every competition on record opens with the same three reasoning tests: verbal, numerical and abstract. They consist of timed multiple-choice questions, and each test is eliminatory.
A given test keeps the same format from one competition to the next: what changes is its number of questions and its duration, set by the notice of competition published in the Official Journal.
What sets them apart
Specialist competitions add a field-related MCQ test, which assesses knowledge of the target profession. The generalist administrators competition adds EU knowledge and digital skills tests.
The EUFTE written test is not multiple choice: it is an essay on a European topic, assessed on substance and form, included in most administrator and assistant competitions.
Which test in which competition
Each row is a competition whose notice has been recorded in our database; each cell gives the number of questions and the duration. An empty cell means the test is not part of that competition.
